I bought these for my son and niece. They LOVE showing off their belts and these work very nicely. They need to be at least 2 slats longer though. Other than that, they are great. Price is higher now than when I purchased mine so that might be a deteriant.

I wouldn't order any of these personalized racks -- the name is just etched into the wood and there's no staining or color behind the etching, so you can barely read the name. They make the pictures look like the name is stained, but there was no color on mine. It's terrible. I'm asking for my money back.

The personalization makes it above average. Also, the price is better than the actual martial arts catelogs. My son is six, and it makes him proud to see his name. He just graduated to camouflage belt, therefore, I bought 2 right off the bat because I knew he would need more space in going to black belt:) It's great. I'm buying another for Christmas for one of his friends in his class.

Our son is on his second rack, now that he's up to a brown belt in tae kwon do - these racks display the belts and keep them all in one spot! We also buy these for his friends as gifts. This belt rack is great! We've had ours (2 of them) for three years now and love it. It displays all the belts on the wall of our son's room and they are simple to put on and move around if you need to. I just wish they had a rack that held ten. The lettering is very nice as well. I have purchased this item twice. One was for an 8 year old who had achieved his black belt, and one was for a 6 year old who is a gold senior, I think. They both have loved these gifts. Not only are they proud of their belts, they are even prouder to show them off to others. The engraving was perfect, and to my knowledge, there were no problems hanging them on the wall. Finally, you can't beat the price.

We've bought 2 of these! My son likes his name on it, and I think they are a very attractive way to show his accomplishments. If there was one thing I would add, it would be an option for a darker finish. My son's furniature is a cherry finish, and this doesn't match in any way....but we still like it!

The carving of the letters (personalized)was very nice, but it wasn't inked in very dark - had to go over it with a marker to make his name more visible

I bought this to surprise my son who got into karate about a year ago. He was so excited when he opened it & thought it was so cool that it had his name on it. I put his 2 earned belts on it & it was awaiting to be hung sitting on a small chest at the bottom of his bed (about 15" off the ground). It slipped off (not just dropped) & it came unstapled. Yes...the slats to attach the bels to are stapled, not nailed. I am going to try to redo, but honestly I think it just needs to visit the dump. I was quite disappointed with the quality of this product. The wood was very thin & it is not very durable to say the least. I would be in search of a more durable & higher quality one for the future, especially since I don't think that it will hold all the belts. It was also not very easy to finagle the belts into the loops that hold the belt to the wood slat. It also doesn't look very nice once you do put it on there. Not sure if that is a user error or if all karate belt holders are like this or if it is just this one that is a problem. All in all, the look of the item is attractive, but that is really all it has going for it. I was very disappointed & so was my child.

It does its' job, but it is not the best quality. I am very proud of my children's accomplishment in karate and I wish I would have spent a little more and purchased one throught their karate school. The wood seems thin, but the laths are just the right size for the belts. I was skeptical as to whether the elastic would hold the belts, but it does. The elastic has not stretched or sagged at all. It would be great if they made a 12 belt version. Overall, I am pleased with the belt rack, particularly for the price.

It is great, except it is difficult to read the engraved name(s). I ordered one a couple of years ago that had darker engraving. The wood was also better quality then. Overall I am happy with the product and will keep bying as long as my children earn new belts.

My grandson was thrilled to have a place to show off his martial arts belts. My daughter was surprised at how easily she figured out how to display the belts even though no instructions were included. Very nice display but we added some stain to the name. It wasn't dark enough though the lettering was great.

my kids love to display their accomplishments. this belt display allows them to show off all of their past belts from tae kwon do and it looks nice too.

It would be nice if there were enough spaces for all the belts though so I didnt have to buy 2 for each kid.

The product is what is says it is, so I guess it meets description, but it is difficult to get the belts on and I can't imagine when we have longer belts. We are talking about size 0 belts now for my 4 year old and I can barely get those on. When they get longer, not sure how it will work.

Also the personalization was terrible. I can barely read the engraving.
