Dorothy out-dazzles the Emerald City in a wizard's ransom of sparkling sequins. Poly costume with attached satin blouse, slips over head, zips in back. Includes headband with bow. Imported.

    My daughter insisted on this Dorothy costume because of the sparkly sequins. No other Dorothy costume would do. The buttons fell off almost immediately, but I sewed them back on and criss-crossed the suspenders in the back before buttoning them, and now the suspenders don't slip off her shoulders. The crinoline is scratchy, but she's wearing her tights, so that solves that problem. Lots of fun!

    I thought this was way cuter than I expected and though the skirt is see through, the costume is a Halloween costume so they are all a little flimsy. I didn't expect it to be any more durable. Price was comparable to other costumes I have purchased. Beautiful colors and the fit was perfect. I was very pleased as was my 5 year old.

    the costume was a little big, but cute. but, the bottons on the front popped off as soon as we put it on, not sewn very well at all. i have to take the dress in a little anyways, but still an inconvenience. other than that, it is ok.

    My daughter absolutely loves her Dorothy costume! She is going to wear it on Halloween and probably for dress up play also. The colors and quality are great. It is a little itchy so make sure you wear an undershirt or slip. Highly recommend this costume, it's GORGEOUS!

    I bought this costume for my 4 year old to wear for Halloween. The sequin in the catalog and online show much more blue than the actual costume. Hers came to us a blue-green. The buttons needed tightened (they were held in with one stitch). Also, the dress is extremely itchy and the hair accessory is uncomfortable. We would not recommend this to anyone.

    What child doesn't love The Wizard of Oz? I recommend buying the while outfit IE: dog in basket and shoes. Our daughter who is six and soon to be seven years old loves this outfit and wore out the video. She fell in love with the movie at age three, now she can drive grandpa nuts by watching it as much as I did at that age. . Our only drawback is that many costumes, including our daughters dance costumes are itchy for her and makes her break out in hives. She has very sensitive skin and even tags bother her. Either line those areas with a soft thick material and/or use Gold Bond powder heavily on the skin. That's what we have to do for any glitter dance costumes and in some areas where the material is sewn like in the shoulder & neck areas.

    Very cute but I would suggest two easy improvements for the costume. First, line the inside of the crinoline. It is itchy. Second, tack the glittery blue staps to the shirt. They don't stay up on their own. Other that that..it is really cute. Toto and tha basket are particular favororites of my 4 year old..although I did put up the basket til Halloween since it is a bit flimsy.

    My daughter hasn't worn it yet. But, she tried it on and loved it! She didn't complain about it being uncomfortable at all. So, it must be ok or she would have said so right away. It looked great! Especially with the red shoes and basket. You have to get them all to complete the outfit.

    My daughter went crazy when she saw the costume in person. She absolutely loves it and we purchased Toto and the basket as well as the ruby slippers. Its a bit too...glittery for my taste but my 4 year old cannot wait till Halloween!! The shirt underneath the dress isnt very attractive and the straps on the dress are very long. But all in all really cute on. Just a few minor alterations and that's it. Seems durable as well.
