By michVerified Purchaser from Orlando, FL on 7/25/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Visible at a Distance
Cons:
Bends/Blows Away, Difficult Set-up
Best Uses:
Back Yard, Garden
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

Difficult to put together, because there are no screws to attached the sections previously assembled, so it kept falling apart. Make sure you assembly it ecaxtly where you intend to leave it, because if you try to move it after it is assembled it will fall apart. Difficult to install in the ground because there were no spikes. Bends and breaks easily.

I would buy this product again. It looks great in the center of my vegetable garden with cucumbers vines growing up it. The only thing I see as a problem is the ends of the sections kept popping out everytime my husband and I were putting it together.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

Hard to put together, then it bent when I tried to get it situated in the yard. Not worth the hassle of sending back. Put the bent part in the back so it would be covered by plants.

Daughter's wedding will be garden theme, in the church. We looked all over for a wrought iron gazebo to rent, but bought this one cheaper, and we couldn't find wrought iron anyway! Will be great addition to backyard garden after the wedding!

By kkVerified Purchaser from Illinois on 6/12/2007

Attractive Design, Visible at a Distance
Cons:
Bends/Blows Away, came apart in high winds

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

Very nice, but it needs more reinforcement to stay together. On the top pieces, it screws together but not after that. I am going to do this myself (drill it and secure it together.)Glue may work also.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

The Garden Gazebo really surprised me! It is just as good as I had hoped after placing my order. It is nice and tall, secure enough for your average climbing roses and smaller vines (like clematis and morning glory) and it looks real pretty even from a distance. This was a terrific price (on clearence for me) and I am just thrilled to have it! Thank you [...]!

Garden Gazebo flimsy, and falls apart
By shabbyteeVerified Purchaser from Minnesota on 6/5/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Visible at a Distance
Cons:
Cross pieces broke off, Difficult Set-up, Falls apart when moved, Took 3 people to assemble
Best Uses:
Back Yard, Front Yard, Garden
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

I loved the look of the gazebo. It is flimsy and was difficult to assemble. The pieces fall off when you pick it up to move it. When we pushed it into the ground the cross pieces broke off. My husband used duct tape to hold it together when we moved it. It remains in the garden missing a few cross pieces. It looks good, though.

Great gazebo for the price!

Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Creative in garden, Practical
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

I got this gazebo on sale, but after it was installed, I would have paid full price! I needed something I could put up in the spring and take down in the winter for other decorations and this does the trick nicely. My small front yard is all tree roots, so I installed raised beds and planted lilies and vines. I needed a focal point and this gazebo was perfect. When we first put it up, it seemed a little wobbly, so we drilled holes about 5 inches deep for each leg. It's very lightweight, but once the vines took hold, it was fine. I love it!

Beautiful Gazebo
By BJ from Yakima, Washington on 5/27/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Bends/Blows Away, Difficult Set-up
Best Uses:
Back Yard, Front Yard, Garden
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

Because of the light weight of this gazebo, my husband has decided to reinforce all the legs with full lengths of rebar and bury about 12 to 16 inches of the rebar in cement-filled, 3-inch PVC pipe. Then he will feel that he can plant roses to climb on the gazebo and the wind will not be able to blow it over. "Mind's eye" tells us this will be a beautiful spot in our garden!

Unstable and brakes easily
By Gardener from HoustonVerified Reviewer from Houston, Tx on 5/25/2007
Cons:
Bends/Blows Away
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Lillian Vernon Green Garden Gazebo:

Unstable, hard to secure in the ground, plus the parts are not sturdy, they break easily if you pull on them.
