| SCREEN RESOLUTION RECOMMENDATIONS |

This site is best viewed with a screen resolution of 800 x 600. To achieve these results, follow the applicable instructions below
Update My Profile/Edit Preferences and UNCHECK the box that gives us permission to share your mailing address.
PC and PC Compatible
To change your screen resolution, right-click on your desktop (not in an application). Select Properties. Click the Settings tab. In Desktop area, drag the sliders to show more or less on screen.
Macintosh
Macintosh users MUST USE Netscape Navigator 4.6 or higher (not Internet Explorer) to shop with Lillian Vernon Online.
If you are using versions 4.6 or 4.7 the type on the screen may not be large enough. To make the type more readable please go to the "View" menu on the top of your page and select "Increase Font Size." Repeat this step as many times as necessary to get the type size most readable for you.
To change your screen resolution, select the Apple menu (the Apple logo). Select Control Panels. Select Monitors & Sound. In Resolution, select 800 x 600. We apologize for any inconvenience. | Modems, which are available in different speeds, connect your computer to the Internet. A higher speed modem transfers information faster from the Internet to your computer. We recommend you use at least a 28.8kbps modem. A 56K modem, DSL or ISDN line, or cable modem will provide even faster connections. |

To print a page in the site, click the Print button on your browser toolbar.
Most black and white printers have default settings that automatically convert color to gray scale. To change your printer setting, select File from your browser menu. Select Print. Click the Properties button. You may need to consult your printer manual to determine if you need to make changes to the gray scale settings. |

RAM is random access memory. It allows your computer to hold temporary information while it does other things. More RAM means that your computer can do more tasks at the same time. |
